Every Hui car has a designated home station, and it must be returned to the same spot you picked it up from. This helps keep cars easy to find for everyone (and keeps campus travel stress-free!).

➡️ Heads up: You can’t return the car to a different Hui station on campus or off campus.

Where do I return the car?

Can my friend drive if they're with me?

Only the person whose name is on the Hui account can drive the vehicle.

Even if your roommate “is a really good driver,” they’re not covered by insurance unless they have their own Hui account.
It’s a safety thing — and it keeps everyone protected.

Do I have to pay for gas?

Nope — Hui covers the fuel. Just use the in-vehicle gas card when you need to fill up, and return the vehicle with at least ¼ tank.

How do I avoid damages or fees?

Drive like you're borrowing your friend's car . . . which you want to give back in one piece.

  • Drive safely and follow traffic laws.
  • Park within the home station's marked stall.
  • Don't take the car off-road.
  • Report any issues you notice right away in the app.

Safe driving = fewer repairs = more affordable campus rides for everyone
